Matt Brown
Working from the Owen Sound office, Commercial Account Executive Matt Brown has built his business through solid customer referrals. His expertise with larger construction companies, farms and fleets has provided him a wealth of knowledge in servicing those areas. He’s quickly approaching 10 years at Nicol, and is surprised at how the time has flown by.
Rebecca MacVicar
Commercial Account Executive Rebecca MacVicar enjoys meeting clients face-to-face. Specializing in Nicol Insurances exclusive program for the Automotive Industry, Rebecca not only liaisons with car dealers, but owners of auto body shops and condo corporations as well.
Jaclyn Searles
Jaclyn Searles is a key member of the small business team for Nicol Insurance’s Commercial Division. Her focused, yet personal approach provides a refreshing change to the digital way other brokers operate. Jaclyn was a perfect fit for the new approach Nicol desired for their expanding commercial insurance division.

Mike Sarvis is a life long learner who jumped into the insurance business following a 16 year commercial retail management career. Familiar with most industries, Mike understands the “pains and struggles” of supply chains, accepting that the last thing clients need to worry about is insurance.
Jaclyn Gostick
As an Account Executive with the Nicol Insurance Commercial Lines team, Jaclyn Gostick enjoys working closely with many Ontario businesses. Working in the Nicol Insurance Port Elgin insurance office, she focuses on providing commercial coverage to small businesses as well as group benefits. As an Advisor for the Chambers Plan, Jaclyn offers Chamber members and their employees comprehensive group benefits, including health and dental insurance. She is the exclusive Advisor for more than 15 Chambers, including the Owen Sound Chamber, Saugeen Shores Chamber and the Grey Highlands Chamber of Commerce.

Ashley O’Leary
“Trust” is how Ashley O’Leary, defines a “good policy”. For Ashley, trust works in two ways. The first, occurs when the client is “forthcoming with their entire commercial operation liabilities”; the second, “matching those liabilities up with their insurance needs”. Both are relied on, to make sure the client is “taken care of in event of a claim”. This is important for Ashley as she enjoys helping people find peace. Nothing can be more peaceful than knowing that in the event of a catastrophe or disruption, that your commercial needs are taken care of. She states that, “If we are unaware of operations or not made aware of certain aspects of the claim, the claims process can be long and drawn out”.
Kelly Arsenault
Kelly Arsenault is no stranger to the multiple aspects of the insurance industry. Working with the Nicol commercial insurance team, Kelly takes business client requests and presents them with updated commercial insurance options. With over two decades of experience, she enjoys helping her clients find the best coverage for the best cost.
Marlene Bell
Experienced, knowledgable and physically active Commercial Account Manager Marlene Bell absolutely loves the insurance business. Her life long insurance career started right after graduating from high school. Her relationship with Nicol Insurance dates back to more than a decade. Prior to joining the Nicol Commercial Division team, Marlene worked as an underwriter and claims processor for a national insurance brand. One of the most favourite things about her day is the convenience of the Nicol Insurances Owen Sound office, as Marlene starts her morning off with a healthy walk to work.
Jocelyn Follis
Originally from Meaford, Jocelyn Follis has lived in Owen Sound since 2004. She is comforted by the fact that Owen Sound, in her opinion, “is the best place to raise children”. Jocelyn has a wealth of experience that transfers easily to her position at Nicol Insurance. She started her career in the Hospitality Industry where she learned about standards, expectations and providing excellent customer service. Jocelyn knows business will only run smoothly, when systems are in the right place and standards are kept high.
Tara Walbourne
As a Commercial Account Manager Tara manages a diverse commercial book of business for Nicol’s Commercial Insurance division. She has had many roles throughout her career. In her early days, Tara found out quickly that she preferred the commercial department to any other, taking on the role as a commercial customer service representative, while at the same time, doing other office duties. A short time later she completed her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation (CAIB), and the rest is history.
April McNabb
Commercial Account Manager, April McNabb enjoys building relationships with both clients and coworkers. Working out of Nicol Insurance’s Port Elgin office, she spends her day servicing commercial files and providing support to existing clients. April has been part of the Nicol team for well over a decade. Having both personal and commercial insurance experience, April’s focus is on serving Nicol’s business clients. She likes the complete service approach Nicol offers clients, especially the dedicated team assigned to each one, “when you call in, we are able to provide excellent customer service and respond in a timely manner.”
