Commercial Account Coordinator Sheena Gennow is a key member of the Nicol Insurance commercial accounts executive’s team. As a Nicol Insurance coordinations expert, Sheena keeps the “information flowing” whether it’s in the early stage of the renewal process or a brand new commercial policy. Sheena is immersed in documents, as in accumulating and organizing them. As a key member of the team, Sheena coordinates document knowledge sharing. Originally from Meaford, Jocelyn Follis has lived in Owen Sound since 2004. She is comforted by the fact that Owen Sound, in her opinion, “is the best place to raise children”. Jocelyn has a wealth of experience that transfers easily to her position at Nicol Insurance. She started her career in the Hospitality Industry where she learned about standards, expectations and providing excellent customer service. Experienced, knowledgable and physically active Commercial Account Manager Marlene Bell absolutely loves the insurance business. Her life long insurance career started right after graduating from high school. Her relationship with Nicol Insurance dates back to more than a decade. Prior to joining the Nicol Commercial Division team, Marlene worked as an underwriter and claims processor for a national insurance brand. One of the most favourite things about her day is the convenience of the Nicol Insurances Owen Sound office, as Marlene starts her morning off with a healthy walk to work.
Kelly Arsenault is no stranger to the multiple aspects of the insurance industry. Working with the Nicol commercial insurance team, Kelly takes business client requests and presents them with updated commercial insurance options. With over two decades of experience, she enjoys helping her clients find the best coverage for the best cost.
“Trust” is how Ashley O’Leary, defines a “good policy”. For Ashley, trust works in two ways. The first, occurs when the client is “forthcoming with their entire commercial operation liabilities”; the second, “matching those liabilities up with their insurance needs”. Both are relied on, to make sure the client is “taken care of in event of a claim”. This is important for Ashley as she enjoys helping people find peace. Nothing can be more peaceful than knowing that in the event of a catastrophe or disruption, that your commercial needs are taken care of. She states that, “If we are unaware of operations or not made aware of certain aspects of the claim, the claims process can be long and drawn out”.
Luke, who has an honours bachelor of arts degree from the University of Windsor as well as a Teachers College Degree, finds the favourite part of his job to be ‘the people’ he gets to work with. Having the opportunity to “help people understand their policies and put their minds at ease”, is extremely rewarding to Luke. Naturally curious, Luke takes his time with clients and puts in the added attention, “by caring enough to ask the right questions” he gets to know the different folks from these growing communities. Connecting with people, is what drives his day-to-day.
