With many clients preferring to deal online, and many insurance providers switching to a paperless system, we recently started adding a new online tool to our broker management system to reflect these choices. This addition will allow you to receive automated emails confirming your policy renewal or requested policy changes.
So what does this mean for you?
1. More Frequent Updates From Your Broker Team
For starters, this means that you can now expect to be more informed when it comes to your account and policy. Whether you’re adding a new driver to your auto insurance policy, renewing your home insurance or opening a new marine policy, you will receive an email from your broker team that confirms the renewal, requested change or new policy.
2. Less Time Waiting for Updated Documents
Any change you make to your family’s coverage, whether it’s a policy change or a new policy in general, requires the appropriate documentation. And in the past, this meant waiting for the proper documents to arrive in the mail. But not anymore! Along with a confirmation email, you can start to expect to receive your updated documents electronically and much sooner than if they were being mailed out. From there, you’re able to save them to your phone or computer or print them if you still prefer to have a physical copy of your documents.
Misplace your documents? Not a problem! Your eDocs are always available to you simply by tapping the button found in your confirmation email.
Not ready to go paperless? Not a problem! Let your broker team know if you’d still like to receive your insurance documents by mail and they’ll happily send them to you.
3. Easier Mobile Access to Your Auto Insurance Slip
Last year, Canadians were granted the ability to carry their auto insurance slip electronically on their smartphone. And up until now, this has required many steps to do so. But thanks to our new online tool, it is now as easy as opening the documents electronically on your phone and saving your auto insurance slip to your mobile wallet. No more frustrating steps or service calls, and no more forgetting to place the up-to-date pink slip in your car.
4. Faster and Easier Access To Your Account and Policies
We believe in the power of educating and informing our clients. We believe that the more you know about your family’s coverage, the less you have to worry about. And for us, this starts with providing each client with easy, 24/7 access to their account and policy details. To do this, we’re launching a new online client portal for both mobile and desktop use. This new portal is user-friendly and contains everything you need to know about your account and policy. It can also be used to access all of your policy documents should you need to save or print them again.

5. More Opportunity to Have Your Voice Heard
Automated confirmation emails and eDocuments are just the start when it comes to how we plan to leverage our new online tool.
