After more than 40 years in the insurance business, Pam Davis is retiring from Nicol Insurance. She is, however, curious to know, “where did that time go?” In the early stages of her brokerage career she moved through the ranks at agencies in Cambridge. Two decades ago, she made the decision to move to her cottage located on the Bruce Peninsula. In 2005, she joined the Nicol Insurance team and has served Nicol’s Bruce Peninsula Insurance area clients ever since.

During her career, Pam has met some pretty wonderful people, adding that “most have become life-long friends”. A thoughtful broker, she understands that what she provides “isn’t the most popular household needs purchased”. So Pam makes it easy, as her approach is relaxed. Pam’s simple pleasure is “life” itself, frankly stating, “it’s too short”. Her grandchildren are her number one, and whether they are helping her in the garden, boating with her on the Bay or going for a walk, she enjoys it all.

Having a roster of clients, that have been developed for nearly 20 years, keeps her very busy. Her experience allows her to advise her clients on exactly what is needed, finding the “trust” given by them, “humbling”. Her years at Nicol, has been a “good experience”, she cites that managements trust in her, “to do the right thing for the client” as the key factor for her satisfaction and enjoyment at Nicol.
