Her professional path has been shaped by both education and experience. Melanie earned a diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communications from Georgian College and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph, both of which strengthened her ability to communicate clearly and approach new challenges creatively. Before joining Nicol, she worked in real estate appraisals, where she developed a sharp eye for detail and a deeper understanding of the value of protecting what matters most.

What truly sets Melanie apart is her approachable nature and genuine care for the people she works with. She loves problem-solving and finding practical solutions, but what she enjoys most is building real connections. Whether it’s remembering a client’s milestone, offering thoughtful advice, or simply taking the time to listen, she brings warmth and sincerity to every interaction.

Having been born and raised in the community she now serves, Melanie feels a strong sense of pride in giving back. She enjoys being part of local events, supporting community initiatives, and meeting people face-to-face.

Outside of work, Melanie’s world is full of creativity and connection. She enjoys practicing yoga, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of the outdoors—often with a fishing rod in hand.
