Harminder Singh Saggi is a Personal Lines Account Manager at Nicol Insurance, working out of their Woodstock location. With a college certification in Insurance and Risk Management, his education helps him explain insurance concepts clearly to clients, making it easy for them to understand the coverages that best suit their needs.

He joined Nicol Insurance to help clients see the buying process as straightforward and stress-free. He strives to translate the technical aspects of insurance into simple terms, complete with practical examples, to enhance client education that produces a fully covered policy. His ability to communicate in four different languages—Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, and Gujarati—enables him to connect with a diverse range of clients, particularly those from India. This linguistic proficiency fosters a “home like” feeling for clients, living in Southern Ontario, who may struggle to express their needs in English.

Before Nicol, Harminder Singh gained valuable experience working on the claims side of the industry. This role provided essential advice and guidance to clients during accidents. He gets the importance of selecting the right insurance products and does this by looking at the specific use of the asset being insured, rather than focusing on the cheapest option.

One of Harminder Singh’s favourite aspects of working in the Woodstock community is the opportunity to engage with clients both in person and over the phone. He appreciates the traditional approach many clients prefer, where face-to-face interactions build deeper connections and trust.  Outside of work, Harminder has a passion for sports, and tracks football, cricket, hockey … you name it.  Harminder’s dedication, expertise, and personal touch make him a valuable asset to the the growing Woodstock community.
