Brenda Vantyghem is a Personal Account Manager at Nicol Insurance’s Port Elgin Office. With years of customer service experience, Brenda establishes strong relationships with those around her. Comfortable sharing her understanding of the industry, Brenda enjoys helping both new and existing clients. She is passionate about the intricacies of insurance, including how different products apply to different people.

Brenda has a strong passion for learning and growing with every new relationship. Her commitment not only aids her personal growth and development but also helps her grow lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues. Originally from Hamilton, Brenda now lives in Port Elgin, where she feels blessed to work in the community that she also calls home. She enjoys having the opportunity to deepen her connections within the Saugeen Shores community.

Whether she’s hiking or swimming, Brenda finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. A lover of the outdoors, Brenda also enjoys cooking and entertaining. She has a passion for creating custom cookies, to the delight of family, friends … and yes … some colleagues and clients. Along with her husband, she loves taking their dogs on nature hikes in the Grey/Bruce area. Outside of Ontario, she enjoys traveling to places like Utah and Alberta, where they both enjoy the comfort of a mountain retreat.
