2020 was a strange year, to say the least. It changed how we worked, how we gathered with friends and family and almost every other aspect of our lives. And as the holiday season neared, it also meant there would be no opportunity to thank our staff for their dedication, perseverance and patience over the past 12 months with a traditional office party. So we went back to the drawing board to find a new way to thank our staff in true Nicol Insurance fashion.
Rather than celebrating our team’s successes and triumphs with a year-end holiday party, we’re proud to share that we did things differently this time around. With help from all 43 Nicol Insurance staff members, we are making a donation in each employee’s name to the charity, cause or foundation of their choosing. 2020 made fundraising a challenge for many charities, so to us, this was the best way to encapsulate our team’s spirit and help each staff member support what means the most to them.
Some donations are still to be made and/or decided, but take a moment to check out some of our staff’s choices and learn more about the organizations in your community.
