We are looking to add to our team in our growing commercial insurance department in Owen Sound, which serves the surrounding areas.


What does an ideal Customer Service support look like?

There is no mold you must fit into to be successful in the role, however, some of the key attributes that lead to job satisfaction and feeling fulfilled are;

–       A strong communicator who enjoys human interaction as well as communicating through technology
–       A multi-tasker who enjoys solving problems through critical thinking
–       Detail oriented
–       Able to work with others to achieve a collective goal
–       Someone with a curious mind who is interested in learning about clients and their business
–       Ability to stay calm in challenging and/or stressful situations

Responsibilities Include:

–        Day-to-day handling of clients’ needs, while building and maintaining strong rapport and relationships
–       Critical thinking, asking questions to help uncover the needs of clients
–       Working directly with a member of our sales team to fully service clients
–       Properly documenting files, staying on top of upcoming renewals and important dates
–       Help clients manage claim situations
–       Communicate with Insurance company underwriter on client renewals, policy changes, etc.

Previous insurance experience and an active RIBO license are a benefit but not prerequisites for the successful candidate.
