Rosemary Ryan has worn many hats in the insurance world, and each one has taught her something new. She first stepped into the industry at the front desk, quickly discovering that she loved learning how things worked behind the scenes. That curiosity led her into technical roles where she processed broker changes, uploaded new business, and spent hours digging through manuals to understand the details. Over time, she gained experience at several brokerages, learning not just the technical side of the industry but also the importance of customer service and teamwork.

At Nicol Insurance, Rosemary brings all of that experience together in her role as a Quality Assurance Specialist. She’s the person her coworkers can count on to check the details, find answers in the manuals, and make sure everything lines up the way it should. She has a natural love for problem-solving and a cheerful, “let’s figure this out” approach that makes her a valued resource to the Nicol Team. She also makes the workday a little lighter—every Tuesday she posts a riddle on the office whiteboard, sparking laughter and friendly competition among her teammates.

Outside of work, Rosemary has a long list of passions. She loves to read, go golfing, spend time hiking, and bake treats to share. Travel is another big part of her life—she’s been to Cuba, Mexico, and Las Vegas, and hopes to one day visit Ireland. Closer to home, she treasures time at her family’s farm, where each spring they gather to make maple syrup, keeping a tradition alive that means as much as the sweet reward.
